Dr. Nancy Yen Shipley is also a firm believer that people can and should remain active and thrive at all ages, and her practice is dedicated to helping her patients optimize their personal and professional performance through a collaborative approach. She believes in a personalized approach to optimal musculoskeletal health, and that the toolbag of a great orthopaedic surgeon should include both non-surgical and surgical options. Dr. Yen Shipley is a musculoskeletal physician first, acknowledging that oftentimes, surgery can be avoided with a holistic approach to bone and joint care. But having trained extensively in the surgical care of the bones and joints a s well, Dr. Yen Shipley is well-versed in cutting edge surgical options for her patients as well.
In addition to her clinical practice as a partner at Multnomah Orthopedic Clinic, Dr. Yen Shipley is experienced in caring for athletes of all levels, having served as a team physician for U.S. Ski and Snowboard Team, Multnomah University, Portland Interscholastic League, track and field’s IAAF World Indoor Championships, Track and Field Olympic Trials, the University of Richmond and the Virginia Special Olympics.
